Students at Garber, Pawhuska, Seeworth Academy out of school for frigid temperatures
We have just a handful of school cancellations Tuesday.
There’s no school for students in Garber, Pawhuska and at Seeworth Academy.
Kids in Oklahoma City will have class today; the district made that announcement around 8 p.m. Monday.
But Monday morning a lot of parents voiced their frustrations when the school district waited until 6:30 a.m. before making the decision to cancel classes.
That left many parents scrambling to find child care.
Many critics point out the subfreezing temperatures had been predicted for days.
