The 15th-ranked Oklahoma State women’s basketball team overcame a sluggish start to beat Kansas State 58-51 on Wednesday night at Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan, Kansas.
Kendra Suttles and Tiffany Bias led OSU with 11 points each, while Brittney Martin added 10 and 9 rebounds.
K-State hit just four of 23 from 3-point range, but took the lead early in the second half with a 10-0 run.
OSU responded to regain the lead, though, with Suttles scoring four straight Cowgirl baskets to give OSU a 10-point lead.
Oklahoma State improves to 13-1 and 2-1 in the Big 12, while K-State dropped to 6-8, and 0-3 in conference play.
The Cowgirls travel to Ames to play undefeated Iowa State Saturday at 6:00.
