Shedding pounds for the New Year? be cautious of what pics you post of it on Facebook
If your New Year’s resolution includes losing weight, be careful what pictures you post on Facebook about it.
One Washington State woman was told she could not post a specific picture of her own dramatic weight loss.
Marilyn Mckenna used to weigh 265 pounds.
After shedding all those pounds, she wanted to post a profile picture of herself standing in one of the legs of her size 20 pants.
Facebook quickly responded telling Mckenna the images were considered to be “promoting idealized physical appearances” and were “policy violating.”
