Veggie truck bursts into flames in parking lot while driver in casino
NORMAN, Okla. – The fire is out after a semi truck burst into flames overnight at Riverwind Casino in Norman.
Crews said the truck was engulfed in fire when they arrived just before midnight.
The driver was no where to be found.
Investigators said the driver left the truck running while she was inside the casino.
Authorities said somehow the fire sparked and burned the entire truck and the frozen vegetables it was hauling.
The semi was carrying about 300 gallons of fuel.
No one was injured but we’ve learned that three animals were killed in the blaze.
