Oklahoma legislator files anti-spying bill

OKLAHOMA CITY – Although the Oklahoma legislature does not pull any weight when it comes to the NSA’s spying tactics, an Oklahoma lawmaker wants to keep our state away from any spying allegations.

Oklahoma Sen. Nathan Dahm filed legislation called the “Fourth Amendment Protection Act.”

Dahm says it would help guard Oklahomans from violations of Constitutional rights.

The bill would require law enforcement to have a warrant, supported by probable cause and approved by a judge before local, county or state officials could provide any assistance to the NSA.
