WATCH: High winds knock over apartments under construction
RALEIGH, N.C. – A strong storm system destroyed a building still under construction in North Carolina and the whole thing was caught on camera.
A wildlife photographer captured footage of the strong winds knocking over part of a condo still in the process of being built.
Forecasters said wind gusts in the area reached 85 miles per hour, toppling all of that hard work in just a few seconds.
Officials said the severe storms also knocked out power for thousands of customers in the Carolinas and northern Georgia.
