OKC Thunder sign former player to help team in Houston
OKLAHOMA CITY – As the Oklahoma City Thunder prepare to take on a former Thunder star on Thursday night, the team is welcoming a former player back to its roster.
On Thursday morning, the Oklahoma City Thunder announced that it had signed guard Royal Ivey to a 10-day contract.
Officials say he will join the team before Thursday night’s game against the Houston Rockets.
Ivey, who is currently listed as a free agent, spent two seasons with the Thunder.
He averages 3.2 points per game and 1.1 rebounds per game.
The Thunder will take on the Rockets in Houston.
Tipoff is set for 8:30 p.m.
