Durant Sets Career High in Thunder Win
Kevin Durant set a new career high with 54 points in the Thunder’s 127-121 win over the Golden State Warriors.
Durant achieved his career high on 19 of 28 shooting (67%) from the field. It was Durant’s 4th 40 point game this season. It’s the first 50 point game in the NBA this season.
Durant said of his scoring outburst, “I made a few shots and I felt good.”
Offense wasn’t an issue for the Thunder. Serge Ibaka added 21 points and 8 rebounds. Reggie Jackson poured in 14.
THe Warriors have lost 10 straight games at Chespeake Energy Arena.
The Thunder improve to 30-10 this year and 17-3 at home. OKC hosts Sacramento Sunday night at 7.
