OKLAHOMA – The combination of low relative humidity (dry air), mild temps and high winds resulted in very high fire danger this afternoon.

Please avoid any outdoor burning as any wildfires will spread rapidly. Even warmer temperatures expected today as highs approach 70 degrees.

Several dry cold fronts will impact the state this week keeping our temperatures in check.

Highs should drop into the 40s on Tuesday and even colder air is possible on Thursday.
