New Device: Helps patients lose weight without exercise, surgery
Many people are hoping to shed those extra holiday pounds but going to the gym or being sliced by a plastic surgeon is not appealing to most people.
However, there’s a new procedure that promises to shrink fatty areas in just a couple of weeks.
Experts say the Vanquish Fat Burner really works to dissolve away love handles and unwanted bulges.
The non-invasive procedure works by using radio waves that emit heat.
That heat then shrinks fat cells.
Doctors say it works but won’t work miracles.
Dr. Ava Shamban said, “The ideal candidate is someone who is fit who has several areas of excess fat that they want to get rid of on their abdomen, on their so-called love handles. So, if you’ve got kind of that muffin top on your jeans, this is for you.”
The treatments are once a week for up to six weeks and costs anywhere from $450 to $800.
It’s a new procedure and isn’t available everywhere yet.
However, experts say the results are permanent as long as you maintain your weight.
