On a day where Oklahoma State super sophomore Marcus Smart had more fouls than points, Le’Bryan Nash scored a career high 29 points in OSU’s 81-75 win over West Virginia University.
Nash hit five baskets after being fouled and provided the Pokes with 18 of those points in a tight first half of play.
The Cowboys used a 10-0 run at the end of the first half to provide momentum into the second half of the victory.
Travis Ford’s club survived a tough, physical game in which player’s were whistled for 56 fouls and six players fouled out of the game.
Marcus Smart was heavily pressured by WVU all game and was one of two Cowboys to foul out.
Despite scoring just four points, Smart still managed to have five rebounds, four assists and a steal.
OSU improves to 16-3 on the year and 4-2 in Big 12 play.
