UPDATE: Crews battling tank battery fire near Perry in Noble County
UPDATE: The fire has been put out.
UPDATE 4:30 p.m. A dispatcher for Big J Truck Service says the blaze is at a disposal well. A transport truck was unloading when the driver heard a ‘whoosh’ noise. When the driver looked back at the tank, the top of the tank was on fire.
MORRISON, Okla. – Crews are working to put out a tank batter fire in Noble County near Perry Monday afternoon.
Officials said the fire started at about 3:30 p.m. near County Rd. 270 and John Wayne.
No serious injuries have been reported at this time.
