UPDATE: Piedmont home is total loss after blaze; Officials investigate cause
PIEDMONT, Okla. – A home is a total loss in Piedmont after fire crews worked to put out a house on fire Monday morning.
Officials said they were called to the fire at about 8 a.m. near Apache N.E. and Sara Rd. N.E.
Oklahoma City fire crews were called out to assist the Piedmont firefighters.
Officials say the homeowner was out of town and no injuries have been reported.
The homeowner said they had a power surge Monday morning although the official cause of the fire is under investigation.Submit Your Photo
