Oklahoma County Sheriff’s deputy involved in crash
An Oklahoma County Sheriff’s deputy was involved in a crash just before 8:30 p.m. on Monday evening.
The Deputy was trying to stop a reckless driver traveling southbound at a high rate of speed on I-35 near Covell.
The suspect had pulled into the right lane and the deputy followed.
The suspect suddenly pulled back into the left lane and the deputy collided with another motorist.
The deputy was able to stop his car but the other driver rolled over into the ditch.
The person traveling in the car hit by the deputy had to be transported to the hospital.
There is no word on the other drivers condition at this time.
The reckless driver did not pull over and was able to get away.
