Kevin Durant Meets Arch Rival Quarterback
Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant experienced a rare opporunity Monday night, January 27.
Durant, a Washington D.C. native, is a well known fan of his hometown NFL team, the Redskins.
The Redskins’ top rival is the Dallas Cowboys.
Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was courtside for the Thunder’s win on Monday.
After the game the two met and even posed for a picture.
Durant posted the picture to the social media app, Instagram with the following caption:
“Redskin guy til I die but I must say that it was a joy meeting Tony Romo and his family! He’s definitely one of my favorite players now, lol! #RGiii”
Durant still showed loyalty to his team, hash tagging the Redskins’ quarterback Robert Griffin III.
