If your kid’s ‘Happy Meal’ costs $82, you should probably check what’s inside
PITTSBURG, Penn. – A shocking story out of Pennsylvania will make you want to check your child’s happy meal before you hand it over.
A McDonald’s employee in Pittsburgh has now been charged with selling heroin inside Happy Meals.
Normal happy meals cost no more than $2.99.
Investigators said Shantia Dennis was selling the meals for $82; that is $2 for the toy and $80 for the heroin inside.
The woman denies the allegations but investigators said anyone who wanted to buy drugs simply pulled up to the drive-thru, ordered a Happy Meal and give the special code word.
Police said Dennis is the second McDonald’s worker in two weeks to be arrested for allegedly selling heroin on the job.
