Super Bowl snacks sure to score touchdowns without dropping ball on diet
We’re just days away from the Super Bowl which means watch parties with lots of not-so-good-for-you snacks.
But that doesn’t mean you have to fumble your New Year’s diet plan.
Saint Anthony Hospital is offering a pre-game plan sure to score a touchdown with your waistline.
They recommend a small snack before heading to the watch party so you’re not hungry when you get there.
Then, stick to a strategy; don`t let your eating be dictated by the pace of the game.
Chips and dip are always a fan favorite; combine baked tortilla chips with dips made with fat-free refried beans, fat-free or light sour cream or cream cheeses.
For sandwich options, select veggies and lean meats on whole grain bread.
Also, drink sugar-free beverages to cut out extra calories.
