WATCH: Skydiver passes out, survives after friends open his parachute
WILTSHIRE, England – A skydiver jumps from the plane, loses consciousness and lives to talk about it.
How? His friends jumping with him saw what happened and were able to glide toward him, while free-falling at more than 100 mph, to open his parachute.
James Lee, 25, had a camera strapped to his helmet so the entire unbelievable event was recorded.
Lee told ABC News another jumper accidentally hit him and he has no recollection of the event after that.
“Two of my friends that saw what happened came down, tried to see if I was responding to basic hand signals and there was no response,” Lee said.
His friends were able to open his parachute.
Lee said he eventually regained consciousness and safely landed on the ground.
