UPDATE: Children find mother’s body; OKC police now investigating murder
UPDATE: The victim has been identified as Rosalba Valdez-Reyonosa, 27.
UPDATE: Oklahoma City police said they are now investigating a murder after a woman’s body was found in a south Oklahoma City home Friday morning.
According to Capt. Dexter Nelson, the woman’s children woke up to find their mother unresponsive.
He said the children called a family friend who called 911 and then came over to be with them, ages 3, 8 and 11.
Capt. Dexter said they found signs of trauma on the mother’s body which leads them to believe she was murdered.
The mother’s name has not been released.
Authorities are still trying to get in touch with her family who live out of state.
OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police are investigating after a woman’s body was found on the 5000 block of S. Broadway Place S.W. 44th St. and Santa Fe Friday morning.
Officials have not released any information about the victim, only that it is the body of a woman.
