Cowboys Drop Second Straight as Baylor Stops Losing Streak

Baylor ended a five-game losing streak with a 76-70 win over Oklahoma State's men's basketball team on Saturday afternoon at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater.

The Bears made 52 percent of their shots and hit 11 of 23 from three-point range, outscoring OSU 13-2 on fast break points.

OSU made just 6 of 21 from three-point range, and All-American Marcus Smart struggled again, scoring 15 points, but making just 3 of 14 from the field and missing all seven three-point attempts.

Markel Brown led the Cowboys with 24 points and made all six of their made three's in eight attempts.

Le'Bryan Nash added 19 points and 6 rebounds.

The Bears had four players in double figure scoring, led by Brady Heslip's 20 points.

Heslip hit six three-pointers.

Corey Jefferson had a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Baylor ended a five-game losing streak and improved to 14-7 overall, 2-6 in the Big 12.

OSU has lost three of their last four and fell to 16-5 and 4-4 in conference play.

The Cowboys host Iowa State Monday night at 8:00 in Stillwater.
