Residents make it to safety after out-of-control kitchen fire spreads to home
OKLAHOMA CITY – As Oklahomans across the state are battling cold temperatures, fire crews in Oklahoma City are battling a small house fire that started in the kitchen of a home.
Authorities were called to the 2100 block of S.W. 70th St. shortly after 8:30 p.m. Monday after residents say a fire in the kitchen got out-of-control.
When firefighters arrived on the scene, they saw flames coming from the entrance of the home.
Fortunately, everyone was able to make it out safely.
