Biggest Loser: Edmond resident drops over 220 pounds in finale

EDMOND, Okla. – After months of working out and counting calories, it has paid off for an Edmond resident.

David Brown weighed 409 pounds when he wanted to be a contestant on NBC’s ‘The Biggest Loser.’

In this season’s first episode, it seemed like he was about at his breaking point.

However, he surpassed expectations and made it all the way to the finale.

He said, “I am most definitely stronger than my story.”

In all, he has lost 222 pounds.

He now weighs 187 pounds.

During Tuesday night’s season finale, Brown was 20 pounds short of winning the grand prize.

However, he says he was grateful for the opportunity and the change the show has given him.

Brown encouraged anyone that wants to lose weight to go for their goal.

He said, “The winning step was the first one.”
