Oklahoma’s softball team fell in both major polls released on Tuesday after going 3-2 in their opening tournament of the season last weekend.

OU dropped to 11th in the USA Today/NFCA coaches poll, and fell to the 7th in the ESPN.com/USA Softball poll.

The Sooners lost to 12th-ranked Kentucky 5-4 in 10 innings in their season opener last Friday, and then lost 3-1 to Cal-State Fullerton on their home field.

OU next travels to Phoenix for a tournament there, starting with games against Michigan State and Arizona State on Friday.
