Tulsa teen convicted of gruesome execution-style murders
TULSA, Okla. – A man accused in a gruesome execution-style murder in a Tulsa park was found guilty of the crime.
Authorities say 19-year-old Darren Price was found guilty last night in the deaths of an Oral Roberts University student and her boyfriend.
The couple were going for a walk last September when they were confronted by two men and allegedly told to get down on their knees before they were shot.
Price and his co-defendant, 21-year-old Jerard Davis, accused each other of pulling the trigger.
The sentencing phase of the trial is now underway.
Prosecutors are asking for the death penalty.
