Teen group ‘Generation Txt’ urging lawmakers to ban texting and driving today
OKLAHOMA CITY – A group of teens will be discussing a ban on texting and driving for everyone in Oklahoma today.
The group, “Generation Txt” is committed to creating awareness about the dangers of texting and driving and pushing for a ban in Oklahoma.
They will present 770 signatures in favor of the ban to lawmakers today.
The “Generation Txt” conference will start at 11:30 a.m. at the State Capitol.
The group will have a booth set up on the third floor balcony.
