OKLAHOMA - An Oklahoma man is beaten, robbed and locked inside the trunk of his car.
It happened early Thursday morning when the man went outside to warm up his vehicle. That's when four people ran up behind him and attacked him.
Hiep Hoang speaks little English, but the bruises and wounds all over his body speak volumes.
They might look like small scratches, but puncture wounds from a screw driver trail up and down Hiep's legs. Bruises and several large goose eggs cover his head.
Phuong Vu says his roommate, Hiep, walked outside to his car early Thursday morning for work when four people sneaked up on both sides of his car.
"Both sides they walked up pointing a gun," Vu said.
Four people in all.
"Two women. Two men," Hiep said.
They violently attacked and robbed Hiep and then locked him inside the trunk of his car.
"They beat him a lot before they put him in there," Vu said. "You can tell by the side, the forehead and bunch of bumps. They hit him with a gun."
With Hiep still inside the trunk, they took off to a convenience store.
The suspects tried using his ATM card, but they didn't know the pin number to get any cash, and when Hiep would not give them the number, they stabbed him a screwdriver and hit him with a gun. His hands are cut up, because he used them to try to protect his head.
"When they asked him for the pin he could not give it to them. So at that point they began beating him and pistol-whipping him," OKC Police Department MSgt. Gary Knight said. "He was even stabbed with a screw driver."
The suspects then drove to a nearby park and abandoned the car with Hiep still locked inside the trunk.
He says he broke out a tail light and somehow opened the trunk. Bloody and in shock, he then ran to a nearby neighborhood for help, thankful he wasn't killed.
"Right now its pain, but it's not that bad," Vu said.
Police say one of the female suspects visited a Starbucks Thursday morning, and they were able to capture a picture of her from store surveillance cameras.
