OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City elementary school was put on lockdown as a precaution as police searched for a suspect nearby.

On Friday afternoon, authorities began searching for a suspect who led them on a short chase.

Around 12:40 p.m., authorities found a man matching the description of the suspect in the area of N.W. 12th St. and Villa.
