Local museum celebrates Black History Month in style
OKLAHOMA CITY – This month, the Oklahoma Black Museum and Performing Arts Center is celebrating Black History Month with a number of amazing events.
Rosetta Funches, Mike Garrison, Narva Johnson and Steve Johns, with the Oklahoma Black Museum and Performing Art Center, stopped by our studios to talk about the events.
A church service and kick-off celebration will be held at Faith Memorial Baptist Church.
A cultural connection to literature, art and music is being held at the Full Circle Bookstore.
The Oklahoma Black Museum and Performing Arts Center is located at 4701 N. Lincoln Blvd. in Oklahoma City.
