Inmate makes desperate Valentine’s escape
ARIZONA – Some men would scale fence, crawl through razor wire and then walk ten miles for the sake of love.
That’s exactly what an Arizona man did yesterday in order to see his Valentine.
It was all very romantic until the police arrived to take him back to jail.
Police say Joseph Deke-Nipp who’s 40 years escaped from the Pinal County Detention Center and met his girlfriend at a bar.
The inmate and his companion spent a few minutes together before police arrived.
Officials say since he escaped jail and faces new charges he probably won’t be issued a bond anytime soon.
