Cowboys Fall In Overtime to Baylor, Lose Seventh Straight
The Oklahoma State men’s basketball team lost their seventh straight game for the first time in 41 years to Baylor 70-64 in overtime.
Baylor out-scored OSU 12-6 in the extra period to beat the Pokes at home for the eighth straight game in Waco.
With 3.5 seconds left, OSU freshman Leyton Hammonds stole a Baylor inbound pass and hit a three pointer at the buzzer to tie the game and force overtime.
Cowboy senior Markel Brown hit a three in overtime to cut the Bear’s lead to 66-64, but the Pokes weren’t able to get enough defensive stops to win.
