OKLAHOMA CITY – As the temperatures continue to climb, so does the risk for fire danger.
Firefighters in southeast Oklahoma City were battling a house fire in the 500 block of S.E. 71st St.
Smoke and flames could be seen coming from the roof as firefighters tried to break through the shingles.
Authorities had to use extreme caution since power lines are hanging over the backyard.
Officials say the home suffered quite a bit of damage but no serious injuries were reported.
One person was treated for smoke inhalation.
At this time, no word on what started the blaze.
