Hotel worker calls 911 after man allegedly walks in with gun, demands money
OKLAHOMA CITY – A suspected armed robber is behind bars following a police chase and a manhunt in southeast Oklahoma City.
Authorities say it all started shortly after 5 a.m. Monday at the Plaza Inn, located near S.E. 30th St. and I-35.
Police say they were called to the hotel when a man walked into the building with a gun and demanded money.
A worker called 911 and officers spotted the suspect’s car a short time later.
After trying to pull the car over, the driver led officials on a chase into a neighborhood near S.E. 44th St. and Sooner Rd.
Officers arrested Leondrick Brown for the crime.
No word on what charges he is facing.
