Sooners Heat Up, Cruise Over Wildcats
Oklahoma’s men’s team hit 10 three-pointers and made 51 percent of their shots and blew past Kansas State in the first half on their way to an 86-73 win at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman on Saturday afternoon.
OU hit six of their three-pointers in the first half, on their way to a 19-point halftime lead.
The Sooners led by as many as 27 points in the second half before K-State rallied late to trim the lead in half.
Four Sooners were in double figures scoring, led by Buddy Hield’s 18 points and 3 three-pointers.
Isaiah Cousins had 17 points, with Cameron Clark adding 11 and Jordan Woodard 10.
Oklahoma improved to 20-7 on the season, 9-5 in conference play, while the Wildcats dropped to 18-9 overall, 8-6 in the Big 12.
The Sooners travel to Lawrence to play Kansas Monday night at 8:00.
