OKLAHOMA CITY – Do you need a job?

The U.S. Postal Service is hiring at a job fair in central Oklahoma City Thursday.

USPS Job Fair:
Oklahoma City Processing and Distribution Center
4025 W. Reno Ave.
Thursday: 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Friday: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The Oklahoma Division of the U.S. Postal Service has position openings for City Carrier Assistants and Rural Carrier Assistants.

City Carrier Assistants – $15.30/Hour

  • Limited benefits include raises, paid vacation days and access to health insurance as required by law or after the first 360-day term whichever comes first.
  • Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and at least two years of documented driving experience.

Rural Carrier Associates – $16.26/Hour

  • Access to health insurance as required by law or after the first 360-day term whichever comes first.
  • Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and at least two years of documented driving experience.

Requirements

  • Qualified applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening to meet the U.S. Postal Service’s requirement to be drug free.
  • Applicants must also be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident alien status.
