Child suffers minor injuries after being hit by car near elementary school
OKLAHOMA CITY – Paramedics and fire crews rushed to a school in southeast Oklahoma City after learning about an accident involving a child and a car.
Just before 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, authorities were called to the 5300 block of Dimple Dr., near Highland Park Elementary, on an auto-pedestrian accident.
When they arrived, they learned a child had been hit by a car in the area.
Fortunately, the child suffered only minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital in good condition.
Highland Park Elementary School is located in the Mid-Del Public School District, which is near Sunnylane and S.E. 59th St. in Oklahoma City.
