POLICE: OKC man arrested for Assault and Battery with coffee
OKLAHOMA CITY – A Oklahoma man is accused of allegedly attacking a convenience store clerk, with a cup of coffee.
Police say it happened in broad daylight at a Circle ‘K’ near Reno and South Lincoln.
The clerk told police she noticed several people inside the store drinking coffee.
When the clerk asked if they were going to pay, 27-year-old Joseph Burge allegedly threw his drink onto her chest.
Fortunately the coffee was not hot enough to burn the woman.
Burge was arrested for Assault and Battery.
