OKLAHOMA CITY – A 51-year-old Oklahoma City man is accused of stabbing his live-in girlfriend after an argument about exes.

Bruce Taft was arrested after a domestic dispute where police say he allegedly slashed his live-in girlfriend’s head with a knife.

According to the police report, the couple was drinking alcohol and discussing their past.

Taft then became angry and accused his girlfriend of wanting to be with her ex.

Trying to get away from Taft, the girlfriend went into the kitchen.

Authorities say Taft followed her, allegedly grabbed a large kitchen knife and cut her right above the left eye.

When police arrived, officers say they found multiple knives on the couple’s kitchen floor.

Fortunately, the victim is expected to make a full recovery.
