UPDATE: All clear. Officials have confirmed the “suspicious package” reported at Stubbeman Village near the OU dorms is not a threat.

Updates from OU:

9:55 AM: Everything is all clear at Stubbeman Village. The package was not dangerous.

9:46 AM: We have no new information at this time. Please continue to follow this page and we will keep you advised.

9:27 AM: Avoid the west side of Stubbeman Village in the student residential area.  Suspicious package found. Nature of it is being determined.  We will keep you advised.

9:18 AM: OUPD Alert – Suspicious package, West side Stubbeman Village, avoid area.

NORMAN, Okla. – Authorities are investigating a suspicious package reported near the OU dorms at Stubbeman Village.

Officials said the package in question was reported just after 9 a.m.

The bomb squad is on the way.

OU’s website is alerting students with a message on their website.
