Moore, PC West Advance In Prep Basketball Regionals

The Moore high school boys basketball team rallied to force overtime and out scored Edmond North 12-6 in the extra period to advance in the state's high school basketball playoffs 76-70.

Moore's Dionte Cutliff hit a jump shot with under five seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 64 and eventually force overtime.

The Lions were led by Brayden Powell's 24 points, Moore junior Jaylon Wilson also added 23 points.

Putnam City West came into the playoffs as Oklahoma's top rated 6A team and played that way in their opening game, downing U.S. Grant 118-39.

West led 24-3 after the first quarter and only allowed one Grant field goal in the opening period.

UTEP commit Omega Harris led the way for P.C. West with 27 points.

In total, six different Patriots scored 14 plus points for West.

Putnam City West will host Moore in the regional's winner's game on March 1, tip is at 7:00 p.m.
