OKLAHOMA CITY – Police say they are looking for an alleged sticky-fingered suspect who is accused of stealing jewelry from two separate stores on the same day.

On Tuesday, officers were called to Kohls after workers reported the theft of a $9,000 gold ring.

According to the police affidavit, workers say a man walked up to the jewelry counter and asked to hold the ring.

When it was handed to him, the man allegedly ran out of the store.

A short time later, authorities were called to JC Penney at Penn Square Mall for a similar crime.

According to the police report, a man asked an associate at the jewelry counter to see a diamond ring that was worth about $3,800.

After getting the ring, the man allegedly sprinted through the store to the doors.

The suspect is described as a white man, standing about 6-feet-tall, weighing 190 pounds with a medium build.

Witnesses say he has brown hair, is between 20 and 40-years-old and has a goatee.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a tan shirt and an OU baseball cap.
