‘Glow Run’ prepares to light up OKC streets for a cause
OKLAHOMA CITY – Runners across the city are gearing up for a unique event to help find a cure for a deadly disease.
On Saturday, the Glow Run 5K Run/ Walk begins at 7 p.m. at Remington Park.
Participants will light up the surrounding streets for three miles with black light zones, a DJ and a glowing finish line.
Guests can also take part in a ‘Glow Zumba warm-up’ and free face painting.
Runners can sign up at Remington Park for the race from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Registration is $45 per person.
The event benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training.
