OKLAHOMA CITY – So far this season, Russell Westbrook and Kendrick Perkins have been sidelined from the Oklahoma City Thunder with injuries.
However, sources say there is another starter’s name that should be added to the list.
Thabo Sefolosha will miss Sunday night’s game against the Bobcats after injuring his left calf.
Officials say Sefolosha hurt his left calf when he hit a layup early in the game.
He was ready to take off when he winced in pain.
On the other end of the floor, he fouled Marc Gasol and pulled himself out of the game.
Officials say he will undergo an MRI on Saturday to determine the severity of the injury.
Head coach Scott Brooks says he isn’t sure who will start in his place but the team has several options.
Sefolosha is the fourth starter to miss a game this season for the Thunder.
