BOWLING GREEN, KY – This past February, a sinkhole swallowed eight pricey vehicles at the National Corvette Museum.
Now, crews are beginning the long, delicate process of extracting three of the eight corvettes that dropped down into the sinkhole.
So far, one car has been removed, the 2009 Z-R-One “Blue Devil”.
The process of removing the remaining cars is expected to take up to six more days.
After the three cars are removed, crews will then replace the earth and floor system.
The museum will be live streaming the extraction process.
