Sleep problems linked to electronics

Many parents have been wondering why their kids seem so groggy in the morning.

A new poll by the National Sleep Foundation, shows that kids simply are not getting the proper amount of sleep.

The annual “Sleep in America” poll shows that electronics may be to blame for your child’s lack of sleep.

Most children have at least one gadget glowing in what should be a dark room.

Experts say that noise will disturb your sleep and prevent you from getting a proper nights rest, especially noise from a video game or tablet.

Kristen Knuston, Ph.D, a representative from the National Sleep foundation says setting restrictions on these gadgets may help.

“We did find that parents who always enforce rules about how late their child can use these devices do have children that sleep more than parents who don’t have these rules or don’t enforce them regularly.”

Limiting the amount of time you child can spend on their devices, may help them get a better nights sleep.
