Mardi Gras vandals take ‘You Only Live Once’ too seriously at university
NEW ORLEANS (CNN) – When it comes to doing off-the-wall things, some people believe living on the edge is the way to go.
Recently, vandals took the saying “You only live once” a little too close to heart.
Loyola University is home to thousands of college students in the heart of New Orleans.
However, its sign received a makeover from a few Mardi Gras vandals.
Officials say someone stole the first four letters from Loyola University’s sign, spelling out YOLO, a popular acronym.
The acronym is used by many teens and young adults to mean “You Only Live Once.”
University officials say they plan to fix the sign soon.
