BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – One of Oklahoma’s favorite famous couples is moving from the Sooner State.
Miranda Lambert told Taste of Country’s Sam Alex the news about the recent purchase just outside of Nashville in Brentwood, Tennessee.
She and husband Blake Shelton previously lived full-time in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
Lambert said she and NBC’s The Voice judge Shelton spend so much time country capitol they decided to move.
Lambert told Taste of Country’s Sam Alex:
“We just bought a house here in Nashville, outside of town. We had a condo for a while, but we wanted to like, kinda put roots down, because we’re always going to be in Nashville.” The songstress also revealed that they are looking forward to their life in the Nashville area, adding “we’re excited about it because we’re here all the time and we’ll always be here recording records and having something to do in Nashville.”
The three-level home has 5 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, 11,079 square feet and an outdoor pool.
Property records show that Miranda and Blake paid $2,258,000 and closed on the home on July 24, 2013.
