OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma City police are asking for help catching a pair of alleged crooks caught on camera roughing up and robbing a convenience store clerk.

Authorities say the crime happened last week at a small convenience store along N.W. 23rd St.

"You see the clerk is basically under attack," said Oklahoma City police MSgt. Gary Knight.

With the clerk fighting for his life on the floor, a second suspect strolls inside and rips the entire cash register off the shelf.

"The second guy took my cash register, the whole thing," recalls the clerk who asked not to be identified.

The store clerk says being put in a choke hold inside his own store may have been the scariest moment of his entire life.

"I've never faced this situation before," said the clerk.  "This is the first time in my life.  I've never seen that type of incident."

Luckily, before leaving the store, the second suspect came back inside to grab a handful of tobacco products, before fleeing for good.

Only that time the man didn't have on his mask and looked directly at the camera.

That's a break police hope solves the case.

The clerk suffered only minor bumps and bruises in the attack.

Anyone with information on the suspects seen in the video is asked to contact Crimestoppers.
