Piedmont High School’s D.U.C.K. Week Adds Junk Show to Raise Funds for Families

Piedmont, Okla. – Piedmont High School has added a junk/craft show to its 11th annual D.U.C.K. (Doing Unselfish Charities for Kids) Week. The junk show will be open Sunday, Mar. 9 from 11:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. and will kick off the weeklong, community-wide fundraising event. Over 60 junk and craft vendors will be on display at Piedmont Elementary School, 1011 Piedmont Road NE. We will also have live music and four food trucks: Big Truck Tacos, Taste of Soul Egg Roll, Daddy Brad’s Meat Shack, and Huey’s Shave Ice from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.

Last year, the high school STUCO committee brought in Jase and Missy Robertson from A&E’s “Duck Dynasty,” which contributed to the overall fundraising efforts topping $160,000. Admission to the junk show is free, but all donations are appreciated, as 100% of funds raised go directly to this year’s recipients. This year monies raised will benefit two mothers who also are in grave medical condition, with children in the Piedmont School District.
