OKLAHOMA CITY – Would you say Oklahoma has some of the hardest working people in the United States?

According to Locality.com, Oklahoma City ranks as #36 of the hardest working cities across the country.

Tulsa brings up the end coming in at #50.

To calculate this ranking for more than 50 American cities, Locality.com analyzed the average number of hours that local businesses work each week with an emphasis on service-oriented businesses like dry cleaners and hair salons.

Other interesting findings:

* NYC businesses work an average of 65.9 hours per week. This is 13% higher than the national average.

* For a city that doesn’t seem to have off hours, San Francisco is at a surprising #41, with 57.79 hours per week.

* Las Vegas – a city that’s open all hours – tends to have harder workers, and comes in at #2 with 64.61 hours worked.

* Boston has the hardest working Dry Cleaners in America – with the highest number of stores (43%) open on Sundays
