Oklahoma State's baseball team rallied from a 5-run deficit to beat San Diego 6-5 in the first game of a doubleheader on Friday afternoon at Reynolds Stadium in Stillwater.

OSU gave up five runs in the first inning, and didn't have a hit until the fourth inning, when the Cowboys broke through with four runs.

Donnie Walton doubled home Tim Arakawa for the first run, then the next batter, Dustin Williams, blooped a single to center to score Walton, making it 5-2 San Diego.

Conor Costello drew the Cowboys within a run with a two-run home run to left to make it 5-4.

It stayed that way until the 8th inning, when OSU scored two to take the 6-5 lead.

An error allowed the tying run to score, then Zach Fish singled home the go-ahead run.

OSU improved to 11-2 on the season, and played the second game of the doubleheader after a half hour break.
